pañca-putra-sahite āsi' paḍilā caraṇe
uṭhāñā prabhu tāṅre kailā āliṅgane


SYNONYMS

pañca-putra-sahite — with five sons; āsi — coming; paḍilā caraṇe — fell down at the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; uṭhāñā — getting him up; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāṅre — him; kailā āliṅgane — embraced.


TRANSLATION

Bhavānanda Rāya, along with his five sons, fell at the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, who lifted him up and embraced him.
