rājaputa-jāti muñi, o-pāre mora ghara
mora icchā haya—‘haṅa vaiṣṇava-kiṅkara’


SYNONYMS

rājaputa-jāti — belong to the Rājaputa caste; muñi — I; o-pāre — on the other side of the Yamunā; mora ghara — my residence; mora icchā haya — I wish; haṅa — to become; vaiṣṇava-kiṅkara — the servant of a Vaiṣṇava.


TRANSLATION

“I belong to the Rājaputa caste, and my home is just on the other side of the river Yamunā. But I wish to be the servant of a Vaiṣṇava.
