dvādaśa vatsare ye ye līlā kṣaṇe-kṣaṇe
ati-bāhulya-bhaye grantha nā kailuṅ likhane


SYNONYMS

dvādaśa vatsare — in twelve years; ye ye — whatever; līlā — pastimes; kṣaṇe-kṣaṇe — moment after moment; ati-bāhulya — too abundant; bhaye — being afraid of; grantha — book; — not; kailuṅ likhane — I have written.


TRANSLATION

So as not to increase the size of this book, I have not written about all the Lord's pastimes, for He performed them every moment of every day for twelve years.
