kāṣṭhera putalī yena kuhake nācāya
īśvara-caritra kichu bujhana nā yāya


SYNONYMS

kāṣṭhera — made of wood; putalī — doll; yena — as; kuhake — a magician; nācāya — causes to dance; īśvara-caritra — the characteristic of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; kichu bujhana yāya — no one can understand.


TRANSLATION

As a wooden doll dances to the will of a puppeteer, everything is accomplished by the will of the Lord. Who can understand the characteristics of the Supreme Personality of Godhead?
