śūdra-vaiṣṇavera ghare yāya bheṭa lañā
ei-mata tāṅra ucchiṣṭa khāya lukāñā


SYNONYMS

śūdra-vaiṣṇavera — of Vaiṣṇavas born in śūdra families; ghare — at the homes; yāya — goes; bheṭa lañā — taking gifts; ei-mata — in this way; tāṅra — their; ucchiṣṭa — remnants of food; khāya — eats; lukāñā — hiding.


TRANSLATION

He would also take gifts to the homes of Vaiṣṇavas born in śūdra families. Then he would hide and in this manner eat the remnants of food they threw away.
