Pratisrutam cha bhavata panchalyai srinwata mama

Aharisheya siras tasya yaste manini putraha.

ENGLISH SYNONYMS

Pratisrutam—it is promised, Bhavata—by you, Panchalyai—unto the daughter of the king of Panchala (Droupadi), Srinwatam—which was heard, Mama—by me personally, Aharisheya—must I bring, Sirasam—the head, Tasya—of him, Yas—whom, te—your, Manini—consider, Putraha—the killer of your sons.

TRANSLATION

Lord Sri Krishna said, "You have also promised to Droupadi, which I have personally heard, that you would bring forth the head of the killer of the sons of Droupadi."
