śivānanda-sena-gṛhe yāñā rahilā
’candanādi’ taila tāhāṅ eka-mātrā kailā


SYNONYMS

śivānanda-sena-gṛhe—to the house of Śivānanda Sena; yāñā—going; rahilā—remained; candana-ādi taila—oil distilled from sandalwood and other substances; tāhāṅ—there; eka-mātrā—one mātrā (sixteen seers, or about fifteen kilograms); kailā—prepared.


TRANSLATION

Jagadānanda Paṇḍita stayed at the house of Śivānanda Sena for some time, and they prepared about sixteen seers of scented sandalwood oil.
