eta saba mane kari' govinda rahilā
prabhu ye puchilā, tāra uttara nā dilā


SYNONYMS

eta saba — all this; mane kari — thinking; govinda rahilā — Govinda kept silent; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; ye — what; puchilā — inquired; tāra — of that; uttara — reply; dilā — did not give.


TRANSLATION

Thinking in this way, Govinda kept silent. He did not reply to the Lord's inquiry.
