punaḥ punaḥ paṇḍita nānā vyañjana pariveśe
bhaye kichu nā balena prabhu, khāyena hariṣe


SYNONYMS

punaḥ punaḥ — again and again; paṇḍita — Jagadānanda Paṇḍita; nānā vyañjana — various vegetables; pariveśe — administered; bhaye — out of fear; kichu — anything; balena — does not speak; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; khāyena — eats; hariṣe — very happily.


TRANSLATION

Jagadānanda Paṇḍita continued to offer the Lord varieties of vegetables. Out of fear, the Lord said nothing but continued eating happily.
