Dear Mr. Grant,

A copy of your letter of July 16th, addressed to Cardinal Pignedoli, has been sent on to this office from the Secretariat for Non Christians and I am happy to let you know that a brief private audience will be possible for His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami during September or October. These audiences take place in the late morning on Wednesdays, so that His Divine Grace’s visit should include a Wednesday. Should he so desire, he could be accompanied at this audience by one person.

I should be glad if you would let me have the dates and address of place of residence while in Rome, when details of the visit of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami have been completed. An invitation which will indicate details of time and place of the audience, will be sent by hand to His Divine Grace on the afternoon preceding the audience.
