Dear Karandhar Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I have been instructed in the following way to reply to your letter dated 3/28/75. From: the very beginning of our movement, the ruling is against illicit sex. So, anyone who will deviate, he will surely fall down. If you think that you are falling down on account of this, then re-instate yourself in a purified condition and everything will be alright. If a diseased man takes the proper treatment and again revives his health and resumes his normal condition of life, then what is the difficulty? So many instances are there of big leaders in our movement falling victim to illicit sexual desires: Gaurasundar, Bali Mardan, Sudama, Subala, etc. And anyone who will violate the regulative principle will also fall down.

If you like, Prabhupada said that you may remain with him for some time in order to prepare for taking sannyasa. I hope this meets you in good health.
