Dear Alicia,

Please accept my greetings. Hare Krsna. I have been asked by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to reply your letter dated 12th April, 1977.

Srila Prabhupada’s recommendation to you is that you chant Hare Krsna as much as possible. If it is not possible for you to live in the temple, then live nearby and try to follow the four regulative principles and chant at least 16 rounds daily. But for initiation that can only happen with the recommendation of one of our ISKCON temple presidents. If the temple president will recommend you, then Srila Prabhupada will certainly accept you as a duly initiated disciple at which time you will also get a spiritual name.
