My dear Adi Kesava Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet.

By now you must have heard of the attack upon our Mayapur temple and devotees by nearly 300 crazed Mohammedan villagers. We are receiving very bad news coverage on account of this, only due to the fact that we had to fire our rifles in self-defense against the attackers. Under the circumstances, His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada wants to continue the prasadam distribution program in Mayapur more than ever. He has asked, His Divine Grace has asked that you immediately transfer whatever funds in the ISKCON Food Relief account to be utilized totally by ISKCON Mayapur. In the event that there are no funds in the bank account, kindly telephone Ramesvara and together arrange to immediately transfer some funds to Mayapur for prasadam distribution. Prabhupada said this must be done immediately.
