Vrndavana,

My dear Sudama Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to thank you for your letter dated July 18th, 1977, and I have also received your letter dated July 19th.
Srila Prabhupada was very very pleased with your report. Especially when you mentioned about bringing the troup to Russia, and Eastern Europe, His Divine Grace became very much enthusiastic. When Srila Prabhupada heard how the many important persons whom you met at Miss Garbo’s house were inviting you to their homes in various countries, He said, “This means you are getting recognition. Now keep yourself spiritually fit sticking strictly to the principles. Do not concoct anything in the philosophy, simply present As It Is, and the whole world will appreciate. Krishna is giving you intelligence how to use your talent in His service. I have always wanted very much such dramatical performance to be demonstrated throughout the world, and now you are making it possible to come true. All my blessings upon you and your whole troup.” I have heard that Banabata Prabhu has joined your theater group. This is certainly a very good addition. He is very enthusiastic and I am sure you will not have any financial difficulties with him around.
I pray that this meets you and all of the devotees there in the best of health and Krishna consciousness. Your servant,
- Tamal Krishna Gosvami
- Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
