- śuni' mahā-pātra kahe hañā vismaya
- ‘madyapa yavanera citta aiche ke karaya!

TRANSLATION
Upon hearing this proposal, the representative of the Orissan government, the mahā-pātra, was very much astonished. He thought, "The Muslim governor is a drunkard. Who has changed his mind?
